Apple Inc. is not a sponsor of, or involved in any manner with, contests or competitions held on this platform.

SideBet takes a 10% platform fee on every settled match pot. The winner receives 90% of the total escrowed pot. Matches cancelled or voided before completion are refunded 100% to both players with no fee deducted.

1. Parties & Governing Law

This agreement is entered into between you and Billionaire Heights LLC (Redondo Beach, California), operator of SideBet Arena. These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

2. Skill-Based Competition

SideBet contests are skill-based competitions whose outcomes are determined solely by participant skill, dexterity, and strategy. They are intended to be exempt from the definitions of gambling under the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) and applicable state law. SideBet never wagers against a user and offers no games of chance.

3. Eligibility & Geolocation

You must be at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to participate in paid entry contests. Real-money accounts and contests are prohibited for residents of Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Louisiana, Maryland, Montana, South Carolina, South Dakota, and Tennessee. Void where prohibited.

4. Platform Facilitation Fee

SideBet retains a 10% platform facilitation and escrow hosting fee on contest prize pools to maintain matchmaking infrastructure, servers, and automated dispute resolution.

5. Anti-Cheat, Collusion & Forfeiture

Bots, automation, multi-accounting, collusion, intentional disconnections, and exploiting game or platform bugs are strictly prohibited. Violators face immediate account termination and forfeiture of all account balances, including pending contest entries and winnings.

6. Withdrawals & Anti-Money Laundering (AML)

Identity verification (KYC) is required prior to any cash withdrawal. SideBet may request documentation to satisfy anti-money-laundering obligations and may decline or delay payouts pending review. Approved payouts are sent within 1–3 business days.

Esports & Skill Gaming Declaration

All matches on SideBet are 100% skill-based esports contests. Outcomes depend solely on player ability, execution, and strategy, with zero elements of chance or chance-based wagering under applicable United States federal and state laws. SideBet acts only as a neutral escrow and result-verification service between two players and never wagers against a user.

Automated Cancellations & Refunds

• Open challenges unaccepted after 30 minutes auto-void with a 100% refund to the host.
• If neither player checks into the match room within 10 minutes of acceptance, the match auto-voids with a 100% refund to both players.
• Mutual cancellation requests trigger an immediate 100% refund to both players.
• Active in-progress matches with locked escrow are non-refundable.

Automated Dispute & Resolution Window

Match results require score proof submission. Once proof is submitted, the opponent has a strict 15-minute window to confirm or dispute it. If no response is submitted within 15 minutes, the system automatically awards the match win and prize payout to the reporting player. Conflicting proof is escalated to staff review with escrow locked.

Subscription & Billing Terms

Optional monthly membership passes renew automatically every 30 days until cancelled. You may cancel anytime in Account Settings to prevent future charges; benefits remain active through the end of the current billing cycle. Membership fees are separate from match entries and are not prorated.

Third-Party Trademarks & Non-Affiliation

All third-party product names, logos, brands, and trademarks (including Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, and referenced video game titles) are property of their respective owners. Their reference on this platform is for identification purposes only and does not imply any affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement.
